hello!

Inn System

The inn system allows you to establish an inn on the server for your clan, which will allow players who check in there to teleport to your inn for Bronze Coins!

  • To establish an inn, you first need to build an inn at your base or an outpost. Currently, there is no “verification” that your inn is suitable, it’s on the honor system that you will build something RP appropriate resembling an inn. Please do not establish inns in dungeons or places where you have not built an inn. You don’t need to have a specific number of rooms or beds for now, the system will not have any information about the physical inn structure.

  • You must place a carpet that indicates exactly where players will need to stand to check in at your inn. Make sure your inn teleport location is not locked inside a closed door, your guest will be stuck if it is! Once you’re ready, stand on that marker and wait ~60 seconds, then use the command v/establishinn “Inn Name”. The bot will respond with your inn details. You can verify that the location is correct using SHIFT+ALT+L in game to see your current coordinates. There is no cost to establishing an inn. If you need to move it, you can use v/closeinn to start over.

  • Once you have established an inn, it will be open for others to “check in” there. To check in at an inn, stand on the designated check-in spot and wait ~60 seconds, then use the command v/checkin. You can only be checked in at one inn at a time and you cannot check in at an inn owned by your own clan. It costs 10 Bronze Coins to check in at an inn, which is a fee paid to the bot (it disappears), but check-ins are now permanent. You can check in to as many inns as you like. Use v/inninfo to see your checkins and how to teleport to them.

  • Once you’ve checked in at an inn, you can use the command v/inn at any time to teleport to the inn. This will cost 2 Bronze Coins, deducted directly from your V-bank account. Each time you teleport to the inn, the proprietor will receive 1 Bronze Coin (paid directly to their account).

  • You can display information about your current check-ins and your clan’s inn by using the command v/inninfo. This will tell you where you are currently checked in, the cost to teleport there, the name and location of your clan’s inn, and the number of checked-in guests.

Community Boons

“Community Boons” is a server-wide system to improve certain server settings for 3 hours at a time.

There are 6 Boons currently available, each requiring a different item to activate.

  • Boon of Blood (Experience Multiplier 0.5 -> 1.0) Heart of a Hero

  • Boon of Abundance (Harvest Amount 1.0 -> 1.5) Tablet of Derketo

  • Boon of Proliferation (NPC Respawn 1.0 -> 0.7) Skull of Yog

  • Boon of Regrowth (Resource Respawn 1.0 -> 1.5) Heart of Nordheimer

  • Boon of Finesse (Stamina Cost 1.0 -> 0.8) Molten Heart

  • Boon of Returning (v/home Discount 100 -> 50) Eye of Set

Activating these Boons requires turning in the requested item at the Profession Hub by standing on the designated target spot. Look for journals near each one to see which item to turn in there.

Once activated, each boon is broadcasted to the server and will last for 3 hours. Additional active boon time can be banked by turning in additional items.

Use the command v/booninfo to see the current status of boons!

Size Changes

On our server, we have the capability to change the size of some placeables, pets, and thralls, as well as players!

Structures can be shrunk down as small as 0.3x. Some examples:

  • Map Room
  • Small Animal Pen
  • Stables
  • T1-T3 Large Animal Pens
  • T1-T3 Wheels of Pain
  • T3 Shrines

You must place the structure in the world first at full size. After shrinking, you can trim down support for the size (accurate to visible model) Map Rooms at 0.5x take up a 4x4 if at the intersection of foundations. , 0.3x take up a 3x3 if at the center of a foundation.

The following entities can be shrunk or grown to either 0.75 or 1.25:

  • Thralls
  • Pets
  • Mounts
    • Mounts shrunk to 0.75 generally cannot be mounted and may sink in the floor if you somehow manage to do it :frowning: Sorry! Horses and pets that are placed while you are shrunk will be placed as the same scale as you, but thralls will still be 1.0
  • Player Character
    • Changing your character’s size may have unintended consequences. You may find that you cannot enter some doors or access some parts of the map. If you encounter any problems, you can return to normal size by using an Orb of Nergal.
  • Shrinking must be requested in advance in #❔support-and-suggestions❔ using the below template
  • Shrinking will only occur during scheduled server restarts and is dependent on Verama’s availability, with no guarantee of timing.
  • Changing size of a placeable, pet, or thrall costs 1 Bronze Coin per request. This will be automatically deducted when the size change is complete.
  • Player character size changes are free, as they can be done at any time.
  • If you move a shrunken placeable after shrinking, it will return to normal size and you must request it again to re-shrink.
  • Use ALT+SHIFT+L to copy and paste the approximate coordinates of the thing you want to shrink.

Request Template:

  • Character Name:
  • Clan Name:
  • Object to Shrink:
  • Desired Size:
  • Coordinates:

Prestige (Bonus Attributes)

“Prestige” is a system for earning additional attribute points above and beyond the standard 60 available in vanilla. These are extra attribute points that you can spend as normal, starting at level 2.

  • Players earn Prestige points in two ways:
    • Registering for two consecutive seasons (beginning with 9). Each season boundary you cross where you registered in both will grant you 5 Prestige Points
    • Turning in Keystones to moderators, 1 Keystone = 1 Prestige Point (DO NOT EAT THE KEYSTONE, THIS DELETES YOUR CHARACTER!)
  • To be granted these additional points in-game, use the bot command v/prestige.
  • Because of the way attributes work, there will be situations where you end up with negative attribute points if you’re under level 60. To address this, you can claim free respec potions with v/respec, until level 60.
  • Extra attribute points won’t be able to raise an attribute over 20, but it allows you to branch into additional trees.
